Starting school again? But I just graduated! Actually, I’m excited to be commiting time to research. I’m starting to devise a Masters Thesis, in a field which is a fusion of Biology and Microelectronics: Biosensors. AND, I’m going to be a lifer at Georgia Tech. What a great school, campus, and life experience.
Time for a little update. This semester has been the busiest. With work, robot team, research, and Eta Kappa Nu, there is not much time for classes. Everything sure is exciting, though.
Well things are getting better. Family came to the rescue, power is restored to the area, and the temporary house search begins. It’s possible our home could be “restored,” so we’ll see what happens. Don’t know what the parents will decide.
None of us anticipated such disaster.
Nature’s fury is utterly humbling. Everyone & Tux (the cat) is OK. Our home is not. The storm surge took out the first floor. To add perspective, consider that our floor is (or was) 9 ft. above the mean water level. Dad says some of the land is gone.
Our photo albums were intact in an upstairs closet, and other movable family items were safe upstairs.
